Frequently asked questions
- Who can use Cosign?
- Anyone can browse listings. To post a listing or message another student, you need to verify your Howard University affiliation with a @bison.howard.edu or @howard.edu email, or by uploading your student ID.
- How do I verify my Howard affiliation?
- After signing up, go to your profile and start verification. We'll send a magic link to your Howard email address. If you don't have access to your Howard email, you can upload a photo of your student ID instead.
- Is Cosign free?
- Yes. Cosign is free to use for Howard students. There are no listing fees, no subscription charges, and no commissions.
- How do I report a suspicious listing?
- On any listing detail page, scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and click "Report this listing." We review every report and will remove listings that violate our guidelines.
- When does the platform open?
- Cosign opens to Howard students in August 2026. Join the waitlist to get notified the moment it goes live.
